Everyone wants to be happy, indeed. Even as individuals, we might not know exactly what makes us feel happy. There are factors that affect happiness which many studies and surveys have been conducted around the world. Those data are accessible as open data. In order to recognize what makes us happy, we can properly compare the data related to the happiness index with several factors that could affect happiness.

This project has been conducted to analyze the effect of Health, Economics, Generosity, and Freedom of Choices to the happiness index around the world.

This project has been realized by the students Safira Putri Prasetyo and Minwoo Park in January 2023 as part of the course Data Ethics and Open Data at the UAS Technikum Wien. This course is part of the project IoCEST – Internationalisation of the Curricula in Engineering, Environmental, Smart Cities and Sport Technologies which has been funded by the City of Vienna.
